This cave was pretty tough the first time I played the game, but since I spent so much time mapping everything this time, my player levels were high enough that most creatures in here I defeated with one spell from Sarah. This cave isn't that complicated, but you can find a few important things in here. Ok, now for the location play by play:
Location A: A man named Marthus' is buried
here. Right now this means nothing to you, but remember where this grave
is for a later quest.
Location B: This treasure chest holds a Chrome Sword.
Location C: This treasure chest holds 250 gp.
Location D: This treasure chest holds 2 Diamonds.
Location E: This treasure chest holds 3 Fairy Sugars. None of
the tombstones here are important.
Location F: This treasure chest holds Mithril.
Location G: This treasure chest holds a Tonic Tea.
Location H: As you step into this area, you're party will wonder at
all of the dead bodies around. Think anything bad is about to happen? :)
Location I: The letter inside this chest says "Don't come
close to the lever." If you're like me, you found the letter a bit
too late, huh? lol
Location J: As you approach this lever, a Drake rises from the
water. If you're not very high level, the Drake can be very tough, but as
it was with me, it took some time, but eventually died. When you defeat
the Drake, you search the area and find a total of 20,000 gp!! When you
activate this lever, the Gate at location D in the "Gate" Cave opens.
Location K: This is the entrance to the Ice Cave.
Location L: This is the entrance to Area 3, which I've called the
"Gate" Cave.
